Responsibilities

• Design data models to support application features
• Build APIs used by apps and micro services
• Scale systems to our growing customer base
• Operate and manage Busha services
• Unit test everything
• Share ownership of the product
• Contribute to the broader tech and open source communities

The ideal candidate must have

• Strong desire to perform and grow as an engineer
• 2+ years of production-level Golang experience.
• Additional experience in Typescript, or Rust
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• High levels of intellectual curiosity, professionalism, and self-motivation.
• A track record of being a self-starter with an interest in influencing and making critical product decisions.
• Open-source project experience. GitHub/GitLab links greatly appreciated.
• Attention to detail and a passion for software design.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and shipping impactful products at scale
• Experience working with design systems
• Experience working in Crypto
• A broad range of skills covering the design process end to end: user research, visual design, interaction design and prototyping
• Knowledge of platform-specific patterns (e.g. iOS Human interface guidelines, Android Material guidelines)
